Paul Larsen

Paul is Head of Data + AI at mkdev, an IT consultancy based in Munich, Germany. He has built up and led data science teams for large companies and startups, including Allianz Insurance and Translucent. At both Allianz Insurance and Deutsche Bank, Paul worked directly with national regulators on quantitative risk management.

Paul has published research articles in machine learning, risk management and statistics. He holds a PhD from Humboldt University, Berlin in mathematics, plus degrees from Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar.
